Christy Lamonde moved to Texas from California in 1999 and eventually landed in Canyon Lake after marrying her husband of 8 years. She has a BA in Child Development and has worked in early childhood and school age classrooms as an educator for over 30 years.
"My goal in working with young children is to provide them with opportunities to become curious, inventive, and creative individuals who love learning and being active members of the classroom community. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach at the PPCP with its unique philosophy where parents are actively involved in the hands on learning process."
Claudia Torres was born and raised in west Texas but has lived in San Marcos since 1996. She holds a BA in Biology and is a certified Bilingual Early Childhood/Elementary school teacher with over 30 years experience. She lives with her husband of 20+ years and her two daughters who both "graduated" from the PPCP. "I feel blessed to have the opportunity to continue my participation in the PPCP family. I truly love teaching and learning from children and this preschool is a wonderful place to meet and work with not only precious children, but their amazing families as well."
